My personal favorite - we sat like this for about 20 minutes.

Nice Tri.
So, my daughters are triathletes - what can I say - they are following in their father's footsteps.
Shauna did a triathlon July 18th.
Being an above average swimmer, Shauna didn't need to train too much for this portion of the race - Shauna was the 5th woman out of the water. She did well on the bike . . . to train, she borrowed a friend's bike, went out for a leisurely ride to figure out how to clip in and out quickly & shift gears. Amazingly, Shauna has claimed to hate running for "lo, these many years", however, one morning we began our "training" run as she was eating a peanut butter sandwich - WHILE RUNNING! She stopped to urinate in a field and we were still able to clock a 9 minute mile pace for 6 miles. She's a brat (she had never ran less than a 10 minute mile). She said she was "planning to go into her first triathlon like she did the ACT, just kind of check it out, see what it was all about." She finished her triathlon at 2:12.

Kristen did her first triathlon yesterday. Kristen is a bit of a planner - she practiced EVERY PART of the race. Swimming, biking, running, her psyching up process and most importantly; transitions. She left very little to chance. She finished her triathlon at 1:56.
Two of her biggest funs!
Great Tri. Girls!!
